We stumbled upon this Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) and her chicks near the NT treatment works while on a bird photography mission in Darwin.
Two Rainbow Bee Eaters – Merops ornatus, playing up in a dead tree. These are a spectacular species of bird that was common in the Northern Territory. Sometimes seen in families of up to 12 birds with parents watching over the kids.
